Well, that's what I did back in the late '80s. The training was Real Estate Investing, and while we were given cases to figure in class; when the workshop was over we were given the assignment to do on our own. It was all covered in the training.
The first thing to be professional, get your LLC., second put your team together to be prepared for renovation, OPM, Attorney who knows REI, third learn to look up property owners at the courthouse. Then start cold calling.
Fast forward to the 21st century, the old way has been upgraded big time.
So, now I have replaced many of the old to an easier way to get leads, funding, and finding properties.
My goal now, to take a traditional Bed & Breakfast and turn it into an Airbnb. Airbnb is a lightly regulated home-sharing site with more space for and rents less than a Hotel.
Starting a business from scratch can be challenging. Franchising or buying an existing business can simplify the initial planning process.
